Key responsibilities

We are looking for a reliable and well-organized HR professional to take charge of operational HR matters in Mauritius while providing cross-functional support to other international offices.
The position requires the ability to handle local payroll, coordinate onboarding/offboarding, ensure HR compliance in different countries, and occasionally support office management tasks.

Payroll and compliance (mainly in Mauritius):

  • Manage payroll deductions and ensure compliance with local tax regulations

  • Prepare and submit mandatory declarations to the relevant authorities

  • Process payroll via Ursula (or suggest alternative tools if necessary)

  • Use Lucca for leave and absence management

  • Stay up to date with local labor law developments and those of other jurisdictions

Contracts and employee administration:

  • Draft and maintain up-to-date employment contracts (Mauritius + coordination with some other offices)

  • Maintain accurate employee records

  • Serve as the HR point of contact for all internal administrative matters

Recruitment & onboarding:

  • Post job offers on LinkedIn

  • Conduct initial phone and video interviews

  • Organize onboarding processes and manage offboarding when needed

Office Management and internal support:

  • Handle certain logistical tasks: equipment orders, office supplies, water refills, etc.

  • Help organize team-building activities and internal events (team lunches, bowling outings, end-of-year party)

  • Occasionally assist management with cross-functional topics

Candidate Selection Criteria:


Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (preferred)

Minimum 2 years of experience in a versatile HR role


Soft Skills:

Discretion and confidentiality

Ability to interact with various international stakeholders and adapt to different contexts



Hard Skills:
Solid knowledge of payroll processing (Ursula experience is a plus)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, Outlook

Experience with LinkedIn, Teams, Salesforce

Familiarity with HR software such as Lucca is a plus

Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken

Work condition:

Working hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Remote work: 2 days per week allowed
