At CareerHub, our ambition is to deconstruct traditional recruitment principles. To do so, we place a great priority on the human qualities underlying a simple CV. We want our job applicants to be able to show off their strengths and potential, or to put it another way, to be their authentic selves.
Given that we spend more than a third of our lives at work, it is critical that employees feel at ease and connected to their work. To do so, we lay a greater emphasis on cultural fit than on any other factor.
We want candidates to be able to immerse themselves in the world of companies. We believe that each of our job applicants has a profile that matches a corporate culture in which he or she could thrive.
Where it all began
CareerHub.mu was launched in 2015, with the aim of solving the problem of skills set mismatch in Mauritius. The project was born out of in-depth exchanges with Mauritian professionals, students and jobseekers, and was guided by the sound advice of international experts : former LinkedIn developers, great UX professionals and business consultants in web hiring industry.
In 2019, CareerHub.mu was acquired by a Mauritian headhunting company, MeetYourJob, in order to offer a wider variety of solutions for our clients. Good people too, good humans really willing to make the difference, passionate and determinate about their business ideas.
We teamed up so as to be stronger, to learn from each other and because we believe it’s the right thing for us and for our community. We want to stick around and be here for you, simple as that.
