Key responsibilities
As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the accurate management of bookkeeping, and providing administrative and relational support to suppliers, clients, subsidies, and banks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting and management of the portfolio for one or more subsidiaries.
- Handling recurring billing, new contracts, and one-off interventions.
- Archiving customer contracts.
- Receiving and matching payments.
- Client follow-up and management of contentious and litigious cases with the Direction.
- Sending client invoices in coordination with the Agency Managers.
- Managing direct debit payments via Go Cardless.
- Receiving, recording, and filing supplier invoices.
- Preparing supplier payments according to schedules.
- Recording daily bank transactions and performing bank reconciliations.
- Ensuring accurate maintenance of accounting records.
- Preparing VAT returns.
- Preparing financial statements.
- Preparing the annual balance sheet (account review).
Administrative Management:
- Handling incoming phone calls and messages.
- Daily and annual archiving of accounting documents.
- Monitoring current and future supplier contracts: electricity, gas, phones, etc.
- Collecting general administrative documents and files.

Candidate Selection Criteria:
• Bachelor’s degree or BTS in accounting, finance, business administration, or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting within a French company.
• Excellent command of written and spoken French.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Strong IT skills, especially in accounting software, Excel, and related tools.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• Autonomy and initiative.
• Organization and rigor.
Work condition:
• Monday to Friday: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.
• No operations on public holidays in Mauritius.
• Up to 2 days of remote work per week after 6 months of on-site work.
• 3-month probation period.
