Key responsibilities
We are looking for a reliable and organised Office Manager to set up and run the day-to-day operations of our new Mauritius office. You will be the backbone of the office, making sure everything runs smoothly so the team can focus on their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations, supplies, vendors, and facilities
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and visitor arrangements
- Support onboarding of new hires and basic HR administration
- Liaise with Dubai HQ on operational and administrative matters
- Maintain office records, expense tracking, and basic bookkeeping support
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Ensure the office stays professional, organised, and compliant with local requirements
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in office management, administration, or executive support
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Discreet, dependable, and comfortable handling confidential information
- Fluent in English; French is a strong advantage
- Mauritian national or resident with valid right to work

Goals & Performance Metrics:
Short term (3 months):
Establish smooth day-to-day office operations, set up vendor relationships, organise office systems and supplies, support the onboarding of new hires, and act as the central point of coordination between the Mauritius office and Dubai headquarters.
Medium term (6 months):
Run a fully organised and efficient office, manage all administrative, vendor, and basic HR workflows independently, maintain accurate records and expense tracking, and support a growing local team without operational disruptions.
N+1 Management Style:
The Office Manager will report directly to senior leadership, with day-to-day coordination involving our Dubai operations team. Our style is trust-based and collaborative. We give our Office Manager full ownership of how the office runs, while staying available for guidance and decisions. We value reliability, discretion, and a proactive approach.
Career Progression Opportunities:
This role can grow into a wider Operations or Executive Assistant role supporting senior leadership, or into a Regional Operations position as UEB3's footprint expands. Strong performers will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities in HR, finance support, or office expansion projects.

Candidate Selection Criteria:
We are looking for candidates with 3+ years of experience in office management, administration, or executive support. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. We also value discretion, reliability, and the ability to handle confidential information professionally. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is required. Experience supporting an international or remote team is a plus.
Work condition:
Full-time, on-site at our Mauritius office. Standard business hours, Monday to Friday. Occasional flexibility may be needed during team onboarding and office setup phases.
