Key responsibilities

  • Design:
    • Meeting with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
    • Developing design concepts and creating sketches, drawings, or models.   
    • Selecting appropriate materials, finishes, and fixtures.
    • Preparing detailed design plans and specifications.
    • Presenting designs to clients and incorporating feedback.
  • Installation:
    • Planning and scheduling installations.
    • Preparing the installation site, ensuring it is safe and suitable.
    • Assembling, installing, and configuring products or systems according to design specifications and industry best practices.
    • Testing and troubleshooting installations to ensure functionality and quality.   
    • Adhering to building codes and safety regulations.
    • Cleaning up the installation site and removing debris.

Customer Service:

  • Providing excellent customer service throughout the design and installation process.
  • Addressing customer questions and concerns promptly and professionally   
  • Following up with customers after installation to ensure satisfaction.
  • Resolving any post-installation issues or problems.
  • Creating Functional and Beautiful Spaces/Products: Developing designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and meet the client’s needs.
  • Delivering High-Quality Installations: Ensuring installations are completed to a high standard of workmanship, meeting all specifications and regulations.
  • Exceeding Customer Expectations: Providing exceptional customer service and communication throughout the project.
  • Managing Projects Effectively: Completing projects on time and within budget, minimizing disruptions and maximizing efficiency.
  • Maintaining Technical Proficiency: Staying up-to-date with design trends, installation techniques, and new products or materials.

Installation Expertise:
Proven experience in installing similar products (e.g., cabinetry, furniture, fixtures).
Proficiency with relevant tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Knowledge of construction and installation techniques.

Technical Aptitude:
Strong understanding of measurements and calculations.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve on-site.
Knowledge of relevant safety standards and procedures.

Design Understanding:
Ability to translate design concepts into practical installations.
Understanding of design aesthetics and principles.
Ideally, some level of CAD or design software comprehension.
