Key responsibilities

  • Installation:
    • Accurately install stone/quartz countertops according to design plans and specifications.
    • Ensure proper leveling, sealing, and secure mounting of countertops.
    • Cut and shape countertops as needed on site.
    • Install sinks, faucets, and other fixtures.
  • Site Preparation:
    • Measure and verify dimensions of installation areas.
    • Prepare surfaces for countertop installation.
    • Protect surrounding areas from damage during installation.
  • Customer Interaction:
    • Communicate with customers to confirm installation details and address questions.
    • Provide instructions on countertop care and maintenance.
    • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Quality Control:
    • Inspect countertops for defects or damage before and after installation.
    • Ensure all installations meet quality standards and customer expectations.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently.
  • Tool and Equipment Maintenance:
    • Maintain and operate specialized tools and equipment (e.g., wet saws, polishers).
    • Ensure tools are in good working condition and used safely.
    • Clean up the work area.

Candidate Selection Criteria:

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment for stone/quartz fabrication and installation.
Ability to read and interpret design plans and specifications.
Knowledge of stone/quartz materials and their properties.
Experience with cutting, shaping, and polishing stone/quartz.
Strong measuring skills.

Experience:
Proven experience in stone/quartz countertop installation or a related field.

Ability to lift and maneuver heavy countertops.
Ability to work in various physical positions, including bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
