Key responsibilities
- Greeting and assisting customers with their deli purchases, providing information about products and suggesting items based on customer preferences.
- Slicing, weighing, and packaging deli products such as meats, cheeses, and prepared foods according to customer specifications and department standards.
- Preparing sandwiches, salads, and other deli items to fulfil customer orders.
- Maintaining a clean and organised deli counter and work area, including cleaning and sanitising equipment and utensils.
- Monitoring and restocking deli products to ensure availability and freshness.
- Following food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of products and customers.

- Providing information to customers about products and promotions
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient operation of the deli department.
