Key responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fresh food department, including bakery, deli, produce, and meat sections.
- Monitor food quality and freshness to ensure compliance with company and safety standards.
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and managing inventory to minimize waste and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Train, schedule, and supervise staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and display of fresh food items.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
- Collaborate with the Manager to develop sales strategies, promotions, and pricing initiatives.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations.
