Key responsibilities
The main objective of this role is to drive sales by maintaining strong relationships with current key stakeholders whilst identifying new business opportunities and growing an existing portfolio through business referrals from partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development – Identify and target new business opportunities.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Achieve individual and team sales targets through a combination of upselling, cross-selling, and new client acquisition.
- Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
- Client Relationship Management: Regularly engage with clients to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Identify potential risks in client relationships and sales processes and take steps to mitigate them.

- Revenue Targets: Meeting or exceedingly quarterly and annual sales targets.
- New Client Acquisition: Securing a specific number of new clients within a set timeframe.

Candidate Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, relationship management, or business development.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Valid Drivers License
- Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of sales processes and strategies.
- Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Business Development: Proven ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and internal reporting.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends and client data to inform sales strategies.
- Negotiation Skills: Skilled in negotiation and closing deals.
Work condition:
- Our standard working hours are from 08:30- to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
- Our sales team may be required to attend events and functions outside of normal working hours.
- Our Sales team is based in Port Louis but will be required to visit clients across the island.
- The selected candidate will be on a 6-month probationary period.
