An exciting employment opportunity is available for a Regional Sales & Technical Support professional based in Mauritius.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: The remuneration package for this position is dependent on qualifications and experience and includes a basic salary and additional benefits.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Your prime responsibility is based on three main areas:
- Promote and sell Autotrak Mauritius products into the Automotive industry.
- Install and service Autotrak Mauritius products in the Automotive industry.
- Provide a standby service to our customers, ensuring you always answer your phone and attend to any after-hours emergency call-outs when necessary.
2) Ensure that your company vehicle is in presentable condition at times, is maintained in proper working order, and is serviced at the correct intervals.
3) Ensure that the Autotrak System installed in your vehicle is always in working order.
4) Maintain an up-to-date technical reference manual for yourself and keep an up-to-date technical file on all the company’s products, including installation criteria, etc.
5) All general and special tools, programming, calibration, and test equipment allocated to you are kept in proper working order.
6) All work-related documentation (costing, part number, and part description) under your control is kept tidy, is accurately completed, and is timeously submitted to the company.
GENERAL:
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Excellent telephone and e-mail etiquette as per the company’s standards and requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong administration skills, and impeccable time management.
- Attend training courses for product knowledge as required by the company.
- Show a courteous manner at all times to both customers and other company employees in the Autotrak Group.
- Be willing to undertake various tasks or projects given to you by the company or the direct Manager.
- Always be correctly dressed in accordance with the company dress code policy.
- Ensure that all jobs issued to you are carried out professionally and courteously, and that upon completion of the job, all documentation is accurately completed and filed in a presentable and accessible condition.
- Promote relationships with all the company’s customers and suppliers that reflect trust and credibility.
- Continuous learning in relevant areas through available resources.

Work condition:
Working Conditions
This position involves both field-based and office-based work.
The employee will be required to travel regularly to customer sites across Mauritius.
Work may involve vehicle installations, inspections, diagnostics, and technical support in various environments and weather conditions.
The role requires occasional after-hours, weekend, and emergency standby support when necessary.
Candidates must be comfortable working independently and managing daily schedules efficiently.
A company vehicle, tools, and required equipment may be provided for work-related duties.
The employee is expected to maintain a professional appearance and comply with company policies and safety procedures at all times.
Physical activities may include driving, lifting equipment, working in confined vehicle spaces, and extended periods of standing or movement during installations and service work.
Ongoing training and product updates will form part of the role requirements.
The position is performance-driven and requires strong customer interaction, responsiveness, and accountability.
