Key responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments/deliveries of merchandise and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Inspect items for damage or defects and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Unload trucks and move merchandise to designated storage areas
- Sort, organise, and store merchandise in the appropriate locations.
- Maintain accurate records of received goods, including quantities and conditions.
- Assist in conducting periodic inventory checks and reconciling discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and safe environment structure in the receiving area.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely processing of shipment/deliveries.
- Provide support to other departments as needed, including stocking shelves or assisting customers queries.
