Key responsibilities
About the Role:
Perform basic culinary tasks and assist the Demi Chef de Partie/ Pastry Sous Chef in preparation of bread, pastries and desserts
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean and sanitise working top every time before proceeding with other tasks and at the end of shift
Portion cakes, bake basic pastries for breakfast and display on buffet
Prepares ingredients for mise en place of lunch and dinner, as per quality and quantity standard
Display final products on buffet
Clear away buffet after breakfast and lunch service
Prepare and responsible of pancake station at tea time- breakfast and afternoon tea
Assist in other outlet when necessary
Perform any cognate duties assigned by Pastry Chef

Goals & Performance Metrics:
You will undergo a probationary period of SIX (6) MONTHS as from the date of commencement of employment. After having successfully completed the probationary period you will be confirmed in your post.

Candidate Selection Criteria:
• Qualifications: Form 4, NC3 Food Production
• Experience: At least 2 years’ experience
• Personal Qualities: Organizational Skills, Planning and Good communication
