About the Role

Zilwa Resort Ltd is looking for a passionate Data & AI Manager – Hotel Cluster who can harness the latest technologies to create a state-of-the-art Data & AI Department for Zilwa Attitude and Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data, Analytics & AI Delivery

     Oversee BI, analytics, data engineering, and AI/Machine Learning initiatives from ideation to production.

  • Develop BI Solutions 

     Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and visualisations that support strategic and operational decision-making

  • Data Integration & Automation

     Integrate data from multiple sources and automate workflows to improve efficiency and data accuracy

  • Performance Optimisation 

     Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise BI systems to ensure fast and reliable data processing

  • Stakeholder Collaboration

     Engage with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions aligned with business objectives

  • Analytics Support

     Provide data and technical expertise to support analytics and data science initiatives

  • Data Quality & Governance

     Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with governance standards

  • Continuous Improvement

     Stay current on BI tools, technologies, and industry best practices to enhance solutions

  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

     Maintain clear documentation of BI systems and processes, supporting team collaboration and knowledge transfer

About You – Qualifications & Skills

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with at least 2 to 3 years’ relevant experience
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights
  • Proven experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools), including building interactive dashboards and reports
  • Ability to translate business needs into effective data analysis solutions
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data warehousing (star/snowflake schemas), and ETL processes
  • Strong Power BI (DAX, Power Query/M, data modeling, RLS, gateways, workspaces)
  • SQL proficiency (T-SQL or similar); ETL experience
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks, including data security, privacy, and risk management principles
  • A proactive approach to continuous learning, keeping up to date with BI trends and best practices

Goals & Performance Metrics:

You will undergo a probationary period of SIX (6) MONTHS as from the date of commencement of employment. After having successfully completed the probationary period you will be confirmed in your post.

Work condition:

Working Monday to Friday 8h00-16h00 and Saturday 08h00 to 12h00. However, depending on the exigencies of our operations, we expect the candidate to be flexible.
