Key responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently scan and process items at checkout using a barcode scanner.
- Ensure that all items are scanned correctly, and prices are reflected accurately at the cash counter.
- Maintain a clean and organised checkout area.
- Assist customer queries regarding pricing or product information.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding product pricing on shelves and that barcodes of products are correctly input on the system.
- Keep abreast of promotions and special offers to provide information to customers.
