Key responsibilities

Act as the lead HVAC Engineer within the team, providing technical expertise for the design, sizing, and optimization of HVAC systems, while contributing to the continuous improvement of modeling methods for complex BIM projects.

  • Design and size heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems tailored to each project (mainly cleanrooms, industrial kitchens, etc.)

  • Perform thermal and energy calculations to optimize building performance

  • Participate in the 3D modeling of systems in collaboration with BIM modelers (AutoCAD and Revit)

  • Stay up to date with technological advances in HVAC and sustainable solutions

  • Provide critical feedback on BIM projects and suggest technical improvements

  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, design offices, and mainly European clients

  • Be the go-to resource within the team for all HVAC-related aspects

 

 

 

Specialized in 3D modeling of building plans, mainly in the pharmaceutical sector (factories, research centers, cleanrooms, etc.). The company primarily serves the European market, with some projects in Mauritius. The team, mainly based in Mauritius, consists of BIM modeling professionals working closely with engineers, design offices, and architects.

Founded by Hassen (Director) together with his partners Olivier, Jonathan, and a non-Mauritian associate, the company develops complex digital models using BIM (Building Information Modelling) technology, through specialized software such as Revit and AutoCAD.

Candidate Selection Criteria:

The HVAC Engineer must have strong technical skills in the design, sizing, and optimization of HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning).
They should also have knowledge of regulations, standards, and software tools. Project management skills, effective communication, and teamwork are equally essential.

Technical Skills:


Design and Sizing:

Design and size HVAC systems for residential, commercial, or industrial buildings

Define the specific requirements of each project according to thermal and energy constraints

Select the most suitable equipment and materials


Software Proficiency:

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and thermal simulation tools


Thermal and Energy Calculations:

Perform thermal and energy simulations to optimize building performance

Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and potential energy savings


Technological Watch:

Stay informed about the latest developments in HVAC technologies and sustainable solutions



Soft Skills:

Initiative and strong analytical skills

Work condition:

7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

On-site work, close-knit team in an open-space office
