About MantaRay Management Limited
We are expanding MantaRay Management Limited and actively seeking dynamic individuals to join our growing team. As we scale our operations, we need talented professionals who can contribute to our financial excellence and support our growth trajectory.
Location: Mauritius
Department: Corporate
Reports to: Corporate Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Officer to join our Corporate Department. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality corporate administration services to a portfolio of diverse clients. Reporting directly to the Corporate Manager, you will ensure that all entities under your administration are in good standing and compliant with the Companies Act 2001 and Financial Services Act 2007.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 1–2 years of experience to grow within a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Entity Management: Handle the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of Global Business (GBC) and Authorized Companies (AC) and special license.
- Board Support: Prepare board packs, attend board meetings, and draft minutes and resolutions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Statutory Filings: Ensure all statutory filings (Annual Returns, Financial Statements, etc.) are submitted to the Registrar of Companies (ROC) and the Financial Services Commission (FSC) within deadlines.
- Compliance Liaison: Work closely with the Compliance team to ensure KYC/CDD files are up to date and satisfy internal and regulatory requirements.
- Client Relationship: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and processing requests efficiently.
- Corporate Secretarial: Maintain and update statutory registers, minute books, and corporate records for all assigned entities.
- Reporting: Provide regular status updates to the Corporate Manager regarding the health and compliance status of your portfolio.

Goals & Performance Metrics:
Your success is defined by the "Good Standing" of every entity in your portfolio. Key metrics include 100% accuracy in board minutes, zero penalties for late ROC or FSC filings, and a high client satisfaction score based on your responsiveness. You’ll be measured on your ability to turn complex administrative requests into seamless statutory updates.
N+1 Management Style:
You will report to a Corporate Manager who operates as a mentor-leader. The style is "Guided Execution"—you’ll have the independence to manage your daily desk, but with regular touchpoints to ensure your portfolio’s health. It’s an open-door environment where questions are encouraged, but taking the first crack at a solution is expected.
Career Progression Opportunities:
This is a high-growth "bridge" role. For a professional with 1–2 years of experience, this is the path to becoming a Senior Corporate Officer or a Team Lead. MantaRay actively supports those pursuing ICSA/CGI qualifications, providing the practical environment needed to turn theory into senior-level expertise.
Benefits & Culture:
We offer a culture of collaborative excellence. You aren’t working in a silo; you are part of a dynamic team that thrives on the fast pace of the Mauritius Global Business sector. We value "dynamic individuals" who bring energy to the office and celebrate collective wins when a complex restructuring or onboarding is successfully completed.
Candidate Selection Criteria:
We are looking for precision over speed. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience specifically with GBCs and ACs and can speak "Companies Act 2001" fluently. Being bilingual in English and French is essential, as is a degree in Law, Management, or Finance. If you have a "details-first" mindset, you’ll fit right in.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in corporate administration or a secretarial role within the Global Business sector in Mauritius.
Education: Degree in Law, Management, Finance, or a professional qualification (e.g., partly qualified ICSA/CGI).
Legal Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Mauritius Companies Act 2001 and local regulatory frameworks.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with entity management software is an advantage.
Key Competencies:
Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize a high volume of tasks and meet strict statutory deadlines.
Communication: Strong command of English and French (both written and verbal) for drafting professional minutes and client emails.
Proactive Attitude: A self-starter who takes ownership of their portfolio and seeks guidance from the Corporate Manager when needed.
Attention to Detail: Precision in drafting legal documents and maintaining statutory records.
Work condition:
Expect a fast-paced, deadline-driven office environment. You will be juggling high-volume tasks—from drafting resolutions to filing annual returns—requiring sharp organizational skills. It’s a role for someone who finds satisfaction in a perfectly organized statutory register and a flawlessly executed board pack.
