Goals & Performance Metrics:

Short Term (3 months)
- IFRS Consolidation: Successfully prepare and submit the quarterly consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.
- Anomaly Detection: Identify and address any potential anomalies in the financial statements.
- Intercompany Transactions: Analyze and verify intercompany transactions to ensure accurate elimination.
- Internal Audit Missions: Conduct initial audit missions, present conclusions to auditees, local management, and Group management, and begin supporting subsidiaries in implementing their action plans.

Medium Term (6 months)
- IFRS Standards Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of new IFRS standards and assess their potential impacts on the Group.
- Consolidation Perimeter Update: Ensure the consolidation perimeter is updated and maintained accurately.
- Enhance Financial Consolidation Tools: Implement improvements to the financial consolidation tools to streamline processes.
- Comprehensive Audit Reports: Conduct comprehensive audit missions and provide relevant and operational recommendations, ensuring subsidiaries are effectively implementing their action plans.
- Ad Hoc Analyses: Conduct ad hoc analyses on consolidated financial statements to provide deeper insights and support strategic decision-making.

N+1 Management Style:

The N+1 management style for a Senior Auditor would likely be supportive and collaborative, focusing on providing guidance and resources while encouraging autonomy and accountability.

Candidate Selection Criteria:

- You hold a degree in Finance or ACCA
- Ideally, you have a min of 5yrs of experience in similar position or in an audit firm.
- Previous experience in a Big4 is a plus.
- You are fluent in French and English.
- You have a good knowledge of MS EXCEL, Corporate Finance and keen on process-automation. IFRS Knowledge is a plus
- Curious, autonomous and eager to take leadership in your project, you are ready to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- You are creative with a critical mindset, willing to bring innovative ideas in our finance department.
- Mastery of generative AI (ex: ChatGPT/Poe.com, etc…) is a plus for improving day-to-day productivity

Work condition:

Working days and hours are from Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm.
Mauritius Public Holidays are non-working days.
