Key responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the accounts payable team, ensuring high performance and managing the hiring process.
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with departments to resolve discrepancies and enhance processes.
- Prepare and present accounts payable metrics to senior management.
- Oversee cut-off accounting, supplier debtor management, supplier advances, and review of aging balances.
- Assist in month-end closings and financial audits.
- Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and accounting regulations across operations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

Candidate Selection Criteria:
Strong experience in accounting (minimum 5 years), preferably in a multinational company.
Ambitious, result-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial tools; experience with IVALUA is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international team.
Knowledge of generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) is a plus for enhancing productivity.
