Key responsibilities
Development and Customization:
Develop AL objects (pages, reports, tables, codeunits) to extend the standard functionalities of Business Central. Customize the interface and business logic according to functional specifications.
Integration:
Connect Business Central with other applications, particularly Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and other third-party systems via APIs.
Migration and Upgrade:
Ensure data and customization migration from older versions (NAV, Navision) or other ERPs to Business Central, while guaranteeing data and process continuity.
Analysis and Design:
Collaborate with functional consultants to analyze client needs and translate their requirements into relevant technical and architectural solutions.
Quality and Performance:
Write unit tests, perform peer code reviews, and ensure developments meet best practices for performance and maintainability.
Documentation:
Write clear and concise technical documentation for developments and configurations.
Technology Watch:
Keep your knowledge up to date on the latest developments in Business Central and the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
