Key responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
- Receive invoices, scan them, record them in the accounting system, and obtain approvals from various department heads.
- Review invoices and communicate with suppliers regarding changes to invoice details (company names, VAT numbers, addresses, VAT rates).
- Prepare payment proposals.
- Reconcile supplier balances with the general ledger.
- Review, update, and correspond regarding supplier lists.
- Prepare transitional liabilities and provisions.

Achieve a 98% on-time processing rate for all received invoices, ensuring they are accurately recorded and approved within the set deadlines.
Ensure that all supplier accounts are reconciled monthly with zero outstanding issues.

Candidate Selection Criteria:
At least 2-3 years of experience in an accounts payable role or similar accounting position.
Strong attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks), and excellent organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Ability to handle complex queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in a team environment
