Key responsibilities
- Assist Head of Finance in managing and enhancing the performance of the Finance department and other business units within the Leisure sector.
- Assist the Chief Operations Officer of the Leisure cluster in the day-to-day running of the business units / companies in the Leisure sector of the Group.
- Coach and develop the capabilities of accountants, financial controllers, and the finance team to foster a performance-oriented culture.
- Participate in recruiting and selecting staff for the Finance Department.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to support efficient decision-making, including market research and competitor analysis.
- Establish and oversee guidelines for budgeting and strategic planning; compile the annual consolidated budget.
- Perform monthly reviews of management accounts for each unit and ensure smooth monthly reporting to Rogers & Co.
- Manage daily operations of the finance section, ensuring adherence to Group policies, including transactions and tax compliance.
- Supervise the preparation of financial statements and undertake strategic analysis for business planning.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, consultants, and the Internal Control department to enhance compliance and operational standards.
- Implement and adopt audit recommendations and continuously improve standard operating procedures across departments.

- Conduct a semi-annual review of financial strategies based on market trends and competitor analysis to guide the decision-making process.

- Successfully implement new standard operating procedures across departments to enhance financial accuracy and reporting.

Candidate Selection Criteria:
- Strong background in financial management within the leisure or related industries.
- Proven experience in managing teams, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial software and systems.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Work condition:
Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00 but must be flexible to work irregular hours during critical financial periods such as account closures, budget preparations, etc.
