Key responsibilities

  • Lead the communication team, fostering motivation and ensuring they are well-trained and aligned with departmental goals.
  • Enhance brand awareness and maintain a positive corporate image across all platforms.
  • Oversee public relations, digital strategy, and stakeholder engagement as part of strategic brand communication initiatives.
  • Identify PR opportunities and lead significant media campaigns to boost brand visibility.
  • Manage crisis communications, formulating strategies and advising senior management during crises.
  • Direct all marketing communications to ensure consistency across advertising, digital content, and events.
  • Innovate and execute engaging digital campaigns with a focus on dynamic content creation to increase engagement and loyalty.
  • Serve as the brand ambassador in internal and external meetings, promoting the organization’s communication strategies.
  • Develop and manage content across multiple channels including press releases, media kits, and newsletters.
  • Coordinate budget planning and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies to optimize resource allocation.

Candidate Selection Criteria:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in communication and media relations, preferably in the tourism sector.
- Demonstrable expertise in managing digital content and social media strategies.
- Strong leadership and networking abilities, with excellent skills in crisis management and strategic planning.
- Fluency in English and French, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Work condition:

Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00 but must be flexible to work irregular hours as needed for crisis management or major campaign launches for example.
