Key responsibilities

L’Aventure du sucre is recruiting a cook to join the kitchen team. The individual will be responsible for performing the following tasks as directed by the Chef of the Le Fangourin restaurant:

• Ensure that the presentation and quality of dishes meet the required standard.
• Follow portion control guidelines to maintain kitchen profitability.
• Ensure effective stock control in the area of responsibility and that the FIFO system is followed at all times to meet company and legal requirements.
• Maintain high standards of safe and hygienic work practices.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly used and cared for during service.

L’Aventure du Sucre is hiring a cook for the Le Fangourin restaurant. Responsibilities include ensuring dish quality and presentation meet standards, following portion control for profitability, practicing effective stock management using the FIFO system, maintaining safe and hygienic work practices, and properly using and caring for kitchen equipment during service.

Candidate Selection Criteria:

Minimum required experience: 3 years in a similar position
Experience in the field of butchery
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques
Creativity and sense of aesthetics
Organizational skills and good communication
Ability to work independently
Precision and attention to detail
Multi tasking

The recruitment process involves:

Work condition:

• 08:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Saturday.
• In case of events, you may be required to stay to complete your tasks.
