Key responsibilities

Assess each designated case with respect to its medical elements, applying occupational health expertise and provide direction in order to facilitate medical due diligence and render the appropriate outcome.

• Responsibility for designated ongoing medical related tasks required on all cases.
To participate in the WorkSafe Medical Nurse roster as required by Intl SOS.

• Ensuring a standardized approach to medical team training/quality/productivity initiatives across the platform, working towards continuous improvements.

• Review results received from medical providers to determine member’s fitness to work, taking note of the individual’s medical risk profile, location risk profile, job title with physical requirements of position and environmental conditions into account.
•  To draft professional summaries of medical findings, by applying medical knowledge and acquired occupational health expertise, with appropriate medical recommendations.
•Provide telephone medical or travel advice to designated subscribes in all parts of the world relating to the case management. To assess the appropriateness of the information being disclosed to the case management.

Candidate Selection Criteria:

Registered Nurse/Bachelor of Nursing Degree.
• At least 3 years post qualification working experience.
• Experience in Occupational Health, Workplace Health preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
