Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily stewarding operations in the absence of the Chief Steward.

  • Monitor cleaning standards across all kitchen and buffet areas to ensure compliance with hygiene checklists.

  • Ensure correct usage and dosage of cleaning chemicals and materials.

  • Support inventory management of kitchen utensils, equipment, and canteen service ware.

  • Ensure HACCP standards and food safety requirements are consistently maintained.

  • Oversee back-of-house cleaning schedules, garbage disposal, and risk-free working environments.

  • Liaise with kitchen outlets and the F&B department to support smooth daily operations and special events.

  • Ensure food production areas are adequately supplied with clean and dry utensils at all times.

  • Enforce safety procedures when operating machinery and report accidents, damages, or hazards promptly.

  • Maintain high standards of grooming, professionalism, teamwork, and compliance with hotel policies and safety regulations.

Goals & Performance Metrics:

You will undergo a probationary period of SIX (6) MONTHS as from the date of commencement of employment. After having successfully completed the probationary period you will be confirmed in your post.

Working Monday to Sunday 8h00-16h00 or 15h00 - 23h00. However, depending on the exigencies of our operations, we expect the candidate to be flexible.
