Key responsibilities
-
Assist the Executive Chef in supervising daily kitchen operations and ensuring high food quality standards.

Oversee buffet setup, food production outlets, and ensure cleanliness and proper temperature control.

Plan workload, assign tasks, and supervise mise en place for lunch and dinner service.

Monitor stock levels, verify requisitions, and support cost control initiatives.
-
Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, food hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations.
-
Check and record refrigeration and hot holding temperatures in accordance with standards.
-
Handle guest inquiries, ensure guest satisfaction, and manage special dietary requirements or allergies.
-
Train, mentor, and support new and existing kitchen team members.
-
Maintain strong communication with the F&B department regarding menu updates and operations.
-
Ensure equipment is safely used, well maintained, and that all statutory and company policies are followed.

Goals & Performance Metrics:
You will undergo a probationary period of SIX (6) MONTHS as from the date of commencement of employment. After having successfully completed the probationary period you will be confirmed in your post.

Work condition:
Stands in for Shift (Day, afternoon or night shift)
Working Monday to Sunday 8h00-16h00 or 15h00 - 23h00. However, depending on the exigencies of our operations, we expect the candidate to be flexible.
