Key responsibilities
Responsible of maintaining cleanliness of kitchen back and buffet area, service ware as per set standards

Supervise the team, ensuring that the hotel standard and cleaning/ sanitizing methods in the kitchen areas, buffets and canteen are employed Organise daily work, roster and cleaning schedules and checklists Responsible for the steward pantry and key Assist in the recruitment and selection of stewards Ensure that proper cleaning material and equipment are being used Train team on cleaning and use of materials and equipment Ensure that the food production areas are supplied with clean and dry kitchen utensils Ensure that the back of the house cleaning schedules and garbage runs are strictly adhered to Inform maintenance of damages and follow up on repairs Carry regular briefings to ensure proper communication on operations Carry utensils and cutlery inventory as and when required Responsible of stewarding store and monitor usage of chemicals by stewards |

Goals & Performance Metrics:
You will undergo a probationary period of THREE (3) MONTHS as from the date of commencement of employment. After having successfully completed the probationary period you will be confirmed in your post.

Work condition:
Stands in for Shift (Day, afternoon or night shift)
Working Monday to Sunday 8h00-16h00 or 15h00 to 23h00. However, depending on the exigencies of our operations, we expect the candidate to be flexible.
