Key responsibilities

  • Portion, arrange and garnish food and serve food.
  • Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters.
  • Participate in the day-to-day running of the restaurant.
  • Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils.
  • Work on several different orders simultaneously.
  • Receive deliveries, unpacking and re-shelving or storing stock.
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices.
  • Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgement and experience.
  • Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling or piercing them with utensils.
  • Weigh, measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgement, using various kitchen utensils and equipment.

In this current role a Chef de partie, you will be partly in charge of the restaurant's kitchen operations. Should there be a need for a Sous Chef in the future, we will gladly consider this person for the role first.

Work condition:

Working hours are based on a shift system
Monday to Saturday: 07h 00 to 16h00 or 12h00 to 21h00
Sunday: 07h00 to 14h00
One day off during the week
