Key responsibilities
On the marketing front:
- Develop marketing strategies to promote products, conduct market studies and identify trends, opportunities and customer preferences
- In charge of digital marketing across social media channels, emails and traditional advertising where you will create and oversee the content while closely collaborating with designers and content creators
- Work in partnership with the sales team to develop promotional strategies, including the organisation of events like trade shows, product launches and workshops
On the sustainability front:
- Develop a sustainability strategy while staying updated on trends, implement new practices aligned with our goals, help improve practices across the supply chain to enhance our environmental performance
- Engage with stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives, work in tandem with procurement to source sustainable materials.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, maintain sustainability reports and lead programs that will train employees on best practices.

Goals & Performance Metrics:
As a Marketing and Sustainability Executive at Maison La Dorade, your role will be evaluated based on how well you’ve implemented the marketing strategies, enhanced the brand and achieved our sustainability goals. Key performance indicators will need to highlight how well you’ve boosted market reach and customer engagement, helped in increasing sales and successfully integrated sustainable practices into your action plan.
3-Month Objectives:
- Get familiarised with our marketing practices and sustainability initiatives and get a better understanding of our brand positioning, target audience and strategies.
- Ensure the smooth continuation of ongoing marketing campaigns and sustainability programs.
- Establish a network with our current freelancers and other external partners and expand it further to support our efforts.
- Submit a comprehensive report detailing your observations, insights and areas of improvement.
6-Month Objectives
- Develop and present a detailed marketing and sustainability action plan for the next 12-18 months aligned with our goals, market trends as well as new initiatives
- Independently manage and lead marketing campaigns and sustainability projects, aligning them with company goals
- Build stronger relationships with our internal and external stakeholders. Work closely with all the departments involved in strengthening sustainable practices into the supply chain.
- Strengthen your project management skills and be familiar with our digital marketing tools, sustainability metrics.

Candidate Selection Criteria:
While we appreciate autonomy and employee empowerment, team collaboration is just as important to us! We’re on the looking for someone who:
- Has strong marketing experience preferably in the food industry, as well as sustainability expertise.
- An educational background that’s relevant: Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, Environmental Science. A Master’s Degree is an added bonus!
- Looking to learn, grow, develop skills and innovate in various marketing and sustainable practices while working closely with other teams
- Demonstrates creativity, leadership and adds value to the company with a results-oriented approach
Work condition:
Work hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
While our employees are expected to work on-site at our office in Phoenix, our hours are flexible enough to enjoy a healthy work-life balance.
What we mean is, please leave the office by 4.30PM and make some time for yourself!
