Key responsibilities

Provide support to the housekeeping and other team members by handling day to day operations of the housekeeping and front office department. Assist the EAM rooms with all daily responsibilities and special tasks as directed.

Work with the appropriate departments of the hotel to obtain and disseminate all relevant information concerning arriving guests and with his team prepare guests’ stays meticulously.

Develop changes in product and services in response to customer requirements and evaluate against their improvement to the service.

Deal with all guests’ queries and complaints swiftly and efficiently

With the Maintenance Manager of the hotel, set-up and monitor a proper preventive maintenance programme in order to ensure that the grounds, buildings and equipment and their dependencies are always well maintained and in excellent running order at all times.

Through proper communication ensure that staff members have all the information they require in order to provide excellent customer service at all times.

Regularly participate in Management and Coordination Meetings organized by the Cluster General Manager/Hotel Manager or his representative as required.

Constantly monitor staff morale to ensure that the personnel are kept in an appropriate state of discipline, motivation and commitment to the objectives of the organization at all times.

Maintain an inventory of all housekeeping materials and ensure that they are stored properly in order to prevent any damage or wastage.

Handle guest/ customer calls received at the department and record all messages / reservation requests/ queries and assign to appropriate housekeeping team member. Take responsibility to ensure action is taken wherever possible.

You will undergo a probationary period of SIX (6) MONTHS as from the date of commencement of employment. After having successfully completed the probationary period you will be confirmed in your post.

Work condition:

Stands in for Shift (Day, afternoon or night shift)

Working Monday to Sunday 8h00-16h00 or 15h00 to 23h00. However, depending on the exigencies of our operations, we expect the candidate to be flexible.
