TRAINEE SOCIAL MEDIA & ADMIN

P-SQUARED WEB SYNERGY LTD, COMMUNICATION COMPANY BASED IN PORT LOUIS IS LOOKING FOR A SOCIAL MEDIA AND ADMIN TRAINEE.

THE TRAINEE WILL ASSIST THE DIRECTOR/CREATIVE DIRECTOR IN THE FOLLOWING: 

  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals (1/2 months prior to the client’s demands).

  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news).

  • Monitor the traffic and generate reports every month.

  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency.

  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews (note that occasionally, comments on client’s account will have to be monitored after office hours).

  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.

  • Prepare and edit all kinds of communication material to promote and advertise company policy and products.

  • Represent company in print and electronic media.

  • Schedule interviews and media events and help in preparing reports and seeking approval for use of media extracts.

  • Follow up closely with the Directors for deliverables to multiple clients.

  • Chasing of debtors, billing/ filling, press bookings and follow up.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Diploma in Social Media or Digital Marketing.

  • HSC.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and proactive.

  • Able to handle tight deadline and maintain high standard of work.
