  • Supervise and coordinate activities of dining room personnel to serve food aboard ship: Assign duties, work stations, and responsibilities to personnel and directs their performances.

  • Inspect dining tables and work areas for cleanliness.

  • Greet patrons and show them to dining tables.

  • Requisition supplies such as glassware, china, and silverware.

  • Authorize personnel to work overtime.

  • Suggest entrees, dinner courses and wine to guests.


  • Form 5 (SC Level) / NC 4

  • A previous experience of at least 2 years in F&B operation as waiter or 1 year as Chef de Rang

  • Personal Qualities: pleasant, good communication skills and attention to details.

  • Candidate having a basic theoretical knowledge (secondary level – NTC 3) and/or prior professional experience will also be considered

  • A third language will be an advantage
