Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients.

  • Developing a good working relationship with our clients, our existing team and external parties.

  • Developing an understanding of the structures under your portfolio and providing value- added service to them.

  • Ensuring that the companies, trusts and partnerships are administered in accordance with their constitutional documents and any other relevant documents.

  • Liaising with key parties such as banks, regulators, investors, etc.

  • Preparation of various secretarial services/documents of the Companies including minutes, resolutions, instruments of transfer, share certificates, incumbency certificates as well as Specific Powers of Attorney etc.

  • Attending board / shareholders / clients meetings and drafting/finalising of Minutes.

  • Maintaining the statutory books and records of the companies and trusts under your portfolio.

  • Communication with the client and review of new client “KYC” documentation ensuring compliance with Company policy and Anti-Money Laundering regulations, under guidelines of the Compliance officer.

  • Conducting necessary due diligence checks on payments / receipts of funds.

  • Processing of bank receipts and payments.

  • Preparation, perusal and review of various corporate agreements and arranging for execution by the Directors of the Companies.

  • Liaising with the Accounting and Compliance departments in relation to invoicing and satisfaction of due diligence requirements.

  • Attend to internal reporting, as required in line with the company policy.

  • Keep up to date with corporate and regulatory requirement and changes in the laws.

  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks, carry out duties including projects and delegated responsibilities.

  • Dealing with day to day correspondence and administrative matters relating to the entities, originating responses as appropriate under the guidance of the Directors as necessary.

  • Any other cognate duties.

Qualifications:

  • ACCA qualified / Partly ACCA qualified / Degree holder

  • 1-3 years’ work experience in a management company
