The BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE who will be developing and securing new business relations. You will be expected to have a good understanding of the market, anticipate opportunities, implement an established action plan and to follow its results. We are above all looking for someone having an ENTREPRENEURIAL MINDSET who will not limit him/herself from just developing Sales and Revenue.

YOUR MISSION:

  • Identify, develop, and close new sales leads.

  • Screen past and potential business opportunities by analyzing market reports /strategies, competitions involvements and internal priorities.

  • Integrate group global strategies and products by studying integration and potential in local market.

  • Manage customer’s expectations – Prepare quotes and proposals in line with sales leads.

  • Brainstorm and co-act with colleagues from different departments, and countries, to create strategies and follow action plans.

  • Build trust and long-term relationship with past/lost customers.

  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks.

  • Monthly reports to evaluate the sales objectives and the sales leads to develop.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, including one or more sectors of activity (Experience in the shipping and/or logistics industry would be an advantage).

  • Minimum BSC in (i) business management or (ii) sales & marketing.

  • Holder of a Valid driving license and owner of his own vehicle (car).

  • Excellent communication skills in French and English required (written and oral).

  • Knowledge of the market and willing to develop it over the long term.

  • Good command of Computer Tools including MS Office.
