We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team. If you have a passion for driving cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing Mastery: Lead the development and issuance of RFPs, applying keen evaluation skills to select suppliers based on cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Contract Negotiation Expertise: Conduct negotiations to secure advantageous terms, ensuring contracts align with company expectations and requirements.
- Supplier Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key suppliers, conducting regular performance evaluations for compliance and on-time deliveries.
- Order Management Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end purchase order process, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of supply issues.
- Efficient Record Keeping: Implement and update procurement records and supplier contracts in the company’s internal tool, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Technological Proficiency: Demonstrate solid competencies in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software for creating and maintaining procurement documentation and reports
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and translate them into clear, effective procurement strategies.
- Industry Insight: Keep abreast of industry trends and market conditions to inform procurement decisions and strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. Certification Advantage: Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a procurement role with a strong understanding of procurement processes, including RFPs and PO management.
- Proven negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms.
- Strong analytical skills for managing budgets and critically evaluating supplier proposals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for managing and analyzing procurement data. Experience with procurement software and supply chain management systems, with a preference for Ivalua.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier management and internal collaboration.
- Project Management: Strong project management and leadership skills is a plus.
- Mastery of generative AI (ex: ChatGPT/Poe.com, etc…) is a plus for improving day-to-day productivity
