As a Billing Specialist at Mantu, you will play a crucial role in our finance department by managing the billing process efficiently and accurately. You will be responsible for generating invoices, monitoring payment deadlines, resolving billing discrepancies, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
- Prepare and issue invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify the accuracy of billing data with Purchase Order received and resolve any discrepancies with Business Partners.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our services.
- Communicate with customers to answer billing inquiries and resolve payment issues in collaboration with the Recovery Team.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Recovery Department, Accounts Department and Business Partners to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Reconcile billing statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices in billing.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of more efficient billing procedures.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and customer information.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field preferred).
- Proven 1-2 years of experience in customer services.
- Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Excel is a plus.
- Fluent in French.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and issues professionally.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices is a plus.
- Mastery of generative AI (ex: ChatGPT/Poe.com, etc…) is a plus for improving day-to-day productivity
