What you will be doing:

• Greet and welcome customers as they enter the deli, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere and allocating seating to patrons.
• Provide attentive and personalised service to guests, assisting with menu choices, wine recommendations, and cheese pairings.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special dietary requirements and preferences are noted.
• Prepare and Serve food, wine, and beverages promptly and with a friendly demeanour always ensuring the highest level of hygiene practises.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the toasties menu, wines, and cheeses to answer customer questions and make informed suggestions.
• Ensure tables and the bar area are set up impeccably, reflecting the elegance of our establishment.
• Collaborate with team members to create a seamless dining experience and uphold service standards.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the deli and bar area.
• Handle payments and operate the point-of-sale system accurately.
• Provide wine off-sales recommendations and process sales when required.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating a strong work ethic, teamwork, and a passion for excellence.
