  • Checks suppliers operation at their place of production.
  • Ensures that goods received are of the standard quality and quantity ordered and in accordance with the agreed price.
  • Assist the Purchasing Manager to prepare purchase orders, based on purchase requests received from the Head of Departments, and submits to the Financial Controller or Accountant for verification & approval before sending to suppliers.
  • Sends purchase orders to selected suppliers according to group deal.
  • Assist the Purchasing Manager to order all items through approved suppliers only, obtaining permission from the Financial Controller or Accountant for ordering any items, which are only available through an alternative source
Profile:

Qualifications: HSC
Experience: At least 2 years post-qualification experience.
Personal Qualities: Organisational Skills, Planning and good communication
