• To follow the instructions of his/her superiors in order to maintain company standards of cleanliness through the line/laundry section of the hotel.
  • To assist Laundry and Linen Supervisor in establishing and maintaining standards of procedure to ensure the quality of linen cleanliness.
  • To assist Laundry and Linen Supervisor in supervising and controlling the complete operation of the laundry
  • To assist superiors in establishing and maintaining effective employee relations.
  • To inform the superiors of any complaints or any other problems that may arise.
  • To assist Laundry and Linen Supervisor in ensuring that any orders, or decisions taken by his/her superiors are strictly followed up.
  • To assist superiors in conducting frequent checks in his department with regards to hygiene, storage, stocks etc.
  • To assist supervisors in ensuring that all SOP(s) are properly implemented and carried out efficiently.
  • To assist Laundry and Linen Supervisor in reacting to all daily operating problems and complaints rose and to offer solutions.
  • To assist supervisors in conducting frequent checks in his department with regards to courtesy, service quality and ensure that all standards are maintained.
  • To assist Laundry and Linen Supervisor in undertaking any other duties assigned from time to time by his/her superiors.
  • Be fully conversant with the operating equipment in the laundry.
  • To ensure that stringent controls are put in place to prevent loss or damage to linen.
  • To ensure that all uniforms are properly tagged before putting in service.
  • To work with collaboration with the HRM with regards to Uniforms.
  • To ensure that all Laundry Attendants have all the necessary resources required to perform their duties as per hotel standards.
  • To ensure that all Laundry Attendants wear Personal Protective Equipment whenever needed as per hotel standards
  • To assist Laundry and Linen Supervisor in maintaining effective and cordial Guests relations and to take the initiative to achieve service excellence.
Profile:
  • Qualifications: NTC 2 or equivalence.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in hotel or institutional catering business with a minimum of 3-5 years working experience as an Assistant Linen and Laundry supervisor from a four or five stars hotel.
  • Personal Qualities: Able to speak, write and read French and English. Preferably be able to understand one or more local dialects.
