Job Purpose:

Derive analytical insights from datasets to solve key business problems and improve business profitability metrics, coordinate projects and work across functions and external providers to achieve department objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in collaboration with the Data Analytics team and consultants to optimize and automate dashboards and periodic reports showing key information and deriving business insights
  • Use data to identify trends/opportunities and recommend solutions
  • Work hand in hand with the Sales team to monitor and improve card sales and activation
  • Develop an understanding of the profitability metrics of the business, conduct regular reviews and implement initiatives to improve profitability.
  • Develop an understanding of local and international emerging offerings, technology, processes and trends impacting the business
  • Use industry research to assist in building business cases to achieve departmental objectives
  • Work in collaboration with Marketing and Communication team on specific campaigns that promote card products
  • Supervise specific/related tasks of team members

  • Degree in Computer Science /Statistics or other related subjects
  • At least 3-5 years working experience in a similar technical and/or business environment
  • Proven cross functional collaboration
  • Understanding of SQL, database structure and data warehousing is advantageous
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, external data sources)
  • PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills (French and English)
  • Sound understanding of Financials
