Operational Risk Associate

Profile:

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the requirements of the Group’s risk management policies and related standards
• Engage in the conduct of risk assessments using the Group’s standard methodologies and mitigate identified control weaknesses through the creation of appropriate action plans
• Maintain a risk register and develop a set of Key Risks Indicators to proactively identify exposures or control weaknesses
• Manage the incident reporting process and the operational loss database
• Promote the risk culture and awareness across the Group
• Perform independent reviews of the Group’s policies and procedures, new products or systems and assess adequacy of risk management controls.
• Provide inputs to improve the operational/IT/BCM risk frameworks, policies, standards and processes.
• Support in the implementation of the business continuity management framework, ensuring that business continuity and recovery action plans are kept up to date and reflective of business requirements and environmental change.
• Support and manage the day to day running of the operational risk infrastructure
• Prepare reports for the Operational Risk Forum and the Risk Management Committee of the Board.

Minimum requirements

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Risk Management, Technology or any related fields
• Experience in risk management, compliance, audit, IT security and any control functions will be an advantage
