Summary

The Senior Digital Marketing & Communication Officer plays a key role in bringing to market the SmartFleetDX suite of technological solutions. He will be central in creating awareness, increasing credibility, and generating leads. From a SmartFleetDX perspective, he will be contributing to deliver revenue growth. From a client standpoint, he will enable them to be aware and excited about the benefits they get from the SmartFleet digital solutions.

What will be your responsibilities?

In this rich and new role (we are excited about it!), the Senior Digital Marketing & Communication Officer will focus on:

  • Primarily, taking responsibility of revenue growth, through lead generation (in coordination with the Managing Director and the sales team).
  • Secondly taking actions to increase awareness and credibility of the SmartFleet solutions.
  • Thirdly managing and delivering on all aspects of the marketing tools and value chain (with the support of the broader Bia Group team).

 

He/she will need to have the capabilities to deliver on the following activities:

Branding & Communication:

  • Actively take part in the development and implementation of the yearly communication plan.
  • Create / develop / convey  a strong and consistent verbal & visual identity fin the market. Be the ambassador and the guardian of the visual & verbal identity.
  • Development of various on and offline visual tools and supports.
  • Content creation : monthly newsletter, email campaigns, snailMail campaigns, articles (blog posts/LinkedIn).
  • Videos: interviews of decision makers and users, specific product demos, overall SmartFleet video, internal/external trainings.
  • Goodies.

 

Implementation of an acquisition strategy:

  • Lead Generation.
  • Building a strong and efficient database (and manage the DB, the system, and the process).
  • Sales funnel creation via persona.
  • Growth marketing approach (AARRR).
  • Advertising: Digital advertising (LinkedIn ads and paid features, AdWords); Media  advertising (including paid for articles).
  • Try & buy campaigns.
  • Community Management: animation of social networks (Facebook & LinkedIn) via the creation of a relevant and effective content plan/calendar.
  • Optionally, coordinating events (preparation/contribution; Webinars; physical events (from third party) strategy and preparation, including tradeshows, fairs); events sponsorship; country events & demo days.
  • Define KPIs/measure/analyse/improve/control.

 

Digital development and promotion:

  • Be accountable for the implementation, analysis, and optimisation of digital campaigns. Develop accurate reports on overall performance.
  • Manage the websites & social media platforms (including content development, technical performances).
  • Propose adoption of new technologies to increase digital performances (leading to enhanced brand awareness, leads and new customer generation).
  • Assess and select external partners to assist the company in the implementation of new systems and technologies. Develop and manage the relationship with selected vendors.
  • Be an ambassador of digitalization in the company. Guide, educate and train team members and other departments on digital tools.

Profile:

Who are we looking for?

The right candidates will be able to contribute to the 360° aspects of the marketing strategy and plan, built with SmartFleetDX management. He/she will then focus on execution and control the deliverables. He/she will manage the marketing budget. He/she will measure (and be measured) the outputs and be responsible for the outcomes. He/she will need impeccable project management and presentation/communication skills. He/she is preferably experienced with marketing solutions like SaaS, data & insights, consulting. He/she will need to develop an intimate understanding of the construction and mining sectors, in Africa and in Europe. Last but not least, he/she will be the key anchor for digital marketing, which must be his strongest asset.

 

You will need:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within a company or an agency. Proven track record of delivering on a broad range of digital and traditional marketing activities; ability to be hands-on with most tools and channels needed to execute on the marketing plan.
  • Degree in Digital Marketing / Communication; or other formal marketing education, or trainings to perform the essential functions of the job. Includes degrees, certifications, licenses.
  • Google Tools: Google AdWords / Google Analytics.
  • SEO Tools:  SEMrush/ Google Search Console [master].
  • Social Media Management Tools: Hootsuite/Buffer/Sprout Social or any similar [master].
  • Email Marketing Tools: MailChimp, Flexmail, HubSpot or any similar [master].
  • Content Management Systems (CMS): Customized CMS / WordPress [master].
  • Graphic Design: Adobe Creative Suite: Mainly Illustrator / Photoshop / InDesign [Intermediate].
  • Video Editing Tools: Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro [Intermediate].
  • CRM (HubSpot or similar).
  • SalesNavigator.
  • Experience marketing SaaS/data solutions preferred.
  • Languages: both French and English needed.
