Electrical Maintenance Engineer!

Our client is regarded as one of the most modern sugar factories in the island. Moreover, the sugar mill has successfully adapted to changes on the international front with evolving global commercial agreements and changing market demands. Today, they are looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer!

Main duties and responsibilities 

• Responsible for smooth running of Electrical Machineries
• Plan and implement a maintenance strategy of all machines and equipment in strict compliance with electrical and safety norms
• Daily planning and coordination of workshop activities
• Knowledge in PLC programming
• Design and interpret electrical layout, schematic diagrams, P&IDs and PFDs
• Work in close collaboration with all factory stakeholders to identify and implement improvement plans to increase efficiency of operations
• Implement problem solving and troubleshooting skills to identify potential equipment risks and develop/ implement mitigation plans as needed
• Support the quality management team in achieving 100% customer satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with company’s health and safety policy in daily activities
