LOGISTICS AND FREIGHT SUPERVISOR

• Compare freight between different suppliers
• Booking and Tracking freight
• Check import/export documentation to determine cargo contents
• Documentation verification
• Follow up for cargo release at POD
• Managing the BSC
• Provide necessary documentation for both clients/suppliers and relevant authorities
• Contact vendors or claims adjustment departments in order to resolve problems with shipments
• Handle shipment using sea, air or road freight. Liaising with overseas agents, offices, and partners.
• Control and track shipments from origin to final delivery, all while managing the needed approvals and communications with all involved parties.
• Enter data and tracking on the company database
• Perform constant follow-up on orders.
• Notify management of any deficiency while performing duties
• Keep updated accounts with clearing agent, forwarding agents, suppliers etc
• Any other cognate duties as instructed by management.
