As part of the research team, the research assistant will oversee the following missions:

  • Researching, analysing, and synthesising data on topics such as:
    Television markets
    Telecommunications, including Mobile and Broadband industries
    Medias and advertising, including Radio, Newspapers, Outdoor and Online industries
    Connected devices and TV and broadband technologies
  • Analysing and interpreting graphs, charts, corporate reports
  • Cleaning datasets collected from external data sources to identify and correct errors, complete records and ensure its utmost reliability
  • Understanding market structure evolution in terms of companies ownerships, mergers and acquisitions
  • Organising the information gathered into statistical tables
  • Converting data into a specific format to feed our BI platform and display the research
  • Interpreting the datasets and research produced to provide extensive analysis internally and to clients
  • Ensuring the constant update of our existing database and the reliability of all data points published

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of one-year experience
  • Strong interest in television, media, and new technologies
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and respect all given assignments and instructions
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with analysts across different offices in Europe and Latin America
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel
  • Desire to learn and improve data collection and analysis skills
