OPERATIONS MANAGER
As Operation Manager, you are required to:
- Coaches and trains shift managers, assistant managers, and managers on operational excellence.
- Helps to develop new hire orientation programs and rewards programs, monitors training processes to ensure quality training of team members.
- Develops and maintains staffing levels for managers and assistant managers. Implements management training.
- Provides leadership to Managers and staff to ensure compliance with standards, as outlined in the Subway@ Operations Manual, and applicable government regulations.
- Ensures that correct operational procedures are followed and takes corrective action if necessary.
- Works with staff to achieve sales goals, using available reports to identify opportunities.
- Supports local and national marketing initiatives.
- Completes University of Subway® courses as directed.
- Conduct daily, weekly, monthly business reviews on each of the stores
- Ensure profitability of restaurants by reviewing all weekly and periodic paperwork
- Ensure that all controls are in place and all reported numbers are accurate
- Set goals with individual store managers
- Promote company culture, values and mission with integrity
- Attend all meetings and other business functions as mandated by the Company
- Use management information tools and analysing paperwork on a daily, weekly and periodic basis, to identify and address trends and issues in store performance
- Challenge and inspire store managers to achieve business results and KPI’s
- Provide store managers with coaching, feedback and developmental opportunities to build effective teams
- Assists in the recruitment process
Profile:
- Previous experience in a team supervision in the retail or F&B sector.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High School Diploma.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Basic knowledge of accounting.
- Strong customer focus and decision-making skills.
