Overview of Role: 
As an Account Executive, you will administer the portfolio of merchants and corporate clients assigned by the designated senior account/account manager. Your role entails fostering strong relationships across departments and ensuring the company’s needs are promptly met.  

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Follow up on availabilities, bookings, flash sales, issues, leads, merchant, and corporate client requests. 
  • Contact merchants and corporate clients to address queries and gather information. 
  • Schedule meetings between merchants/corporate clients and senior account/account manager. 
  • Conduct mystery shopper calls and relay results to appropriate channels. 
  • Prepare contracts for signature with merchants and corporate clients. 
  • Identify new business opportunities and analyze competition, communicating findings to the accounts department. 
  • Create new merchant accounts in the MARIDEAL database using available tools and software. 
  • Implement MariDeal’s marketing calendar for promotional events. 
  • Compile weekly and monthly sales reports. 
  • Channel feedback from merchants to relevant departments. 
  • Assist the Account Department with administrative tasks as required. 
  • Perform any other ad hoc responsibilities provided by senior management. 
Profile:

Education: 

  • BSc degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Hospitality and Tourism Management, or relevant field. 
  • Minimum SC/ HSC with relevant experiences. 

 

Competencies: 

  • Proficiency in English and French (written & spoken). 
  • Understanding of sales principles and commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences. 
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a knack for building relationships. 
  • Effective presentation and negotiation abilities. 
  • High degree of professionalism and good time-management skills. 
  • Problem-solving attitude with the ability to meet tight deadlines. 

 

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably as an Account Executive or in a similar sales role.
